Stanley Enow chosen as one of the stars to headline AFRICON in Los Angeles
Stanley Enow, the ParaPariParo crooner ft 8 x Grammy winner, Scott Torch has been chosen as one of AFRICON’s headliners for this year’s edition in Los Angeles.
AFRICON is the world’s Largest Conference for uniting the Global Black Diaspora.
Performing LIVE, alongside other talents like Jidenna, Dj Poison Ivy (Dallas Maverick’s official Dj) Nana Kwabena, BNXN (formerly Buju) he is the only artist on the roaster representing Francophone Africa, a commendable milestone as he sets the tone to celebrate his 10th anniversary in Music in 2023.
Taking place from May 25 – 28, 2022, “AFRICON is the conference that brings together pop culture, music, food, innovation, activism, education & more from the global Black Diaspora.
This event which coincides with Africa Day, aims to celebrate the diversity of the African Continent and the Diaspora through the lens of entertainment, media, technology and leadership”. Different activities like panels, pitch competitions, gala, parties, music festivals and shop black businesses have been organized to understand, appreciate celebrate black excellence and diversity.
In attendance will be top executives and personalities from Billboard, Twitter, TikTok, BET, Afrochella, Tyler Perry Studios, Amazon Prime Videos, BeatsbyDre etc.
Born in Bamenda, a native of the South West, and raised in Bafoussam, Ebai ENOW Stanley, better known as Stanley ENOW, is a Cameroonian rapper and music producer. Self-produced by his production company MOTHERLAND EMPIRE, he came into the limelight in 2013 with his hit song Hein Père, which won him several awards, including the MTV African Music Awards in 2014 in Duban (South Africa) in the category of Musical Revelation. Stanley Enow has been able to adapt over time and invest in other fields such as cinema, fashion and business.
Most famous for his first single, Hein Pere, Stanley Enow remains one of the most popular artists today with his latest release Parapariparo with 8 times Grammy award winning producer, Scott Torch and consequently one of the most sought-after public figures in Africa and abroad. Having recently celebrated another year with the prisoners of the New-Bell prison, introducing his social rehabilitation project for inmates set up by his foundation, Stanley is considered to be an artist with an emotional outlook for his people.
Despite his move to the United States, he continues to cast a positive light on his country and continent.
