Montess is a Cameroonian singer, songwriter, composer and performer born on July 20,1991.
At the age of 6, the singer whose real names are: Montess Ivette Ejema started as a Ballerina at the Buea Government Primary school town. Buea is a town in the southwest region of Cameroon.
Montess is also called QueenKong, a name given to her by Stanley Enow when they did their song titled “Dj Play Ma Song”.
Montess started off her career as a dancer in Buea during the 11th February (National Youth Day In Cameroon) competitions.
In 2015, she released her song Love Witta Gun Man which brought her some fans from the Northwest, southwest and other regions of Cameroon likewise an international fan base.
The Queenkong gained an AFRIMA nomination as best female artiste in Central Africa in 2017. In 2020, she won best music collaborions at the Muzikol Music Awards with her song Passe Partout ft Mr Leo.
So far, Montess has about 10 official songs, some featuring Ko-C, Stanley Enow, Adele Clarisse and Mr Leo.
