With an addictive Afrobeat melody and catchy verses, “I DO” is poised to become one of the biggest wedding songs of 2020 and will undoubtably be dancefloor favorite.
Written by LesLine and produced by hit maker Akwandor, “I DO” recounts the love story of a young African girl who found her prince charming and stuck by him through thick and thin. Their relationship weathered a lot of adversity en-route to a happy ending.
Directed by award-winning video director, Mr. Adrenaline, the video’s story line is themed around a traditional marriage ceremony and features guest appearances by celebrities such as Yana Max Jr., Show Yoh, Joan Ngomba, Kwoh Elonge etc. Cameroonian actress Lilian Mbeng plays the home-wrecker role to perfection but falls short of achieving her goal as the couple say “I DO” to each other before friends and family.
“I DO” adds to LesLine’s growing discography which also includes Saka, the peace anthem Stand 4 Peace (ft. Blaise B, Ewube, Malgic), club favorite Janvier (ft. Malgic), and the show-stopping acoustic rendition of Stanley Enow’s hit song “My Way”. This cover earned her a prime slot at the Stanley vs Enow Tour concert alongside the King Kong himself where she delivered one of the most memorable performances of the event.
