17-year-old Cameroonian boy produces remote control from scratch.

Young Bamenda Boy, Awah Chi Blaise, creates a remote control from scratch.

Cameroonian teen, Blaise, has made himself outstanding as a self-taught engineer. The brain box constructed toys that can be controlled by a remote.

Previously, Blaise had relocated from Bamenda to the littoral region of Cameroon due to the internal conflicts there. Not knowing what the future holds for him because he had abandoned school when relocating, the young engineer builds a toy that can be controlled with a remote.

The prodigy explained that he uses materials disposed off by others. We have plywood, batteries, raffia palm, just to name a few.

Showing off his talent in an interview, he said:

““I get some of the material in dust bins, in scraps, radio, and deck (DVD player) because I don’t have money to get the right ones so I decided to work for some dust bin and get the scrap deck, scrap radio and I pick cartons and some plywoods to combine them in my own way to have what I want like to have the caterpillar machine,”

He has left everyone “wowed” after they discovered his talent.
