A high voltage phenomenon is at the origin of this incident which took place at Bonabéri, Douala on August 5, 2020.
A good part of the population of Bonabéri were in shock an explosion occurred among its inhabitants.
This incident which left effects for at least 48 hours in the neighborhood was caused by a high voltage phenomenon, the owners of the homes say “they did not understand what really happened”.
Although no loss of life and no injuries were recorded, the toll nonetheless shows enormous material losses.
As a reminder, this is not the first time such an incident caused by the instability of the electric current occurs in this part of the city. A macabre scene had taken place there last Saturday August 1. A baby and his mother died from electrocution.
