Biography of Karine Atem, Cameroon gospel singer : Karine Atem, is a wife, mother of 3 youngsters, singer and song writer. She is married to Pst. Chris Atem who is the resident pastor at Prayer Light Embassy church in Houston, TX.

Born and breathe into the Full Gospel Mission and into a believing family, she began singing since her child hood in her Sunday school days.

From a young age she was introduced to gospel musicians like Don Moen, Darlene Zschech, Ron Kenoly, Paul Wilbur etc by her uncle Dr. Eugene Asi who will make her sing along the music audibly. That is how she began nursing the interest to sing and become a music minister.

In 2008 at the university of Buea, she encountered the Lord Jesus, rededicated her life to Christ and made a decision to follow Him. Later, in 2010 she graduated from the university of Buea with a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and then travelled to the US to further her studies where she obtained her Doctorate in Pharmacy with aims of also doing music professionally. She is currently practicing in the states of Texas.

She began doing music professionally in 2019 and has released a couple of songs such as “Matchless God”, “Nothing Will stop me”, “The Secret Place” and many others which are found on her YouTube channel and other digital platforms.

Karine Atem has a sole purpose to preach the Word of God through music; she desires that through her songs many will be encouraged, her ministrations will bring healing to hearts and cause people to dedicate their lives whole-heartedly to serving God.
