Faced with the recurrent road accidents, the Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest Ngalle Bibéhè takes drastic measures
In his press release, the Minister of Transport stressed on the fact that, wearing of a seat belt is compulsory from departure to arrival of passengers.
Interurban transport companies are now obliged to install functional safety belts for each of their passengers except those with serious health problems.The most severe sanction provided by the
regulation in force will be apply in case of violation of the measure.
The Minister of Transport reiterates that wearing a seatbelt contributes 77% to saving life and reducing fractures in the event of a serious road accident.
He counts on the high sense of responsibility of all road users to observe this important measure
