Ivorian gospel singer, Ks Bloom has been held in Cameroon and asked to refund show money before he can leave the country.

What happened ? According to a reliable source, the artist came to Cameroon and was giving a lot of excuses to why he wouldn’t perform at a show he was paid for to go and perform at.

He said the people had said they’ll fill the hall to at least a 1000 people but it didn’t have up to that.

For that reason, if the hall does not have up to a minimum of this amount, he would not be perform.

Before he went to Cameroon, he was paid 3 million frs. At 11 pm, his team stood their grounds that if he isn’t handed the remaining 2.5 million, he will not perform.

After the audience excuse to the money excuse, this Ivorian singer did not finally perform.

The organisers made a lot of losses as they had paid for the hall, his performance & hospitality. This pushed them to take the case to the gerndamerie.

Yesterday, Ks Bloom reportedly left Yaounde for Douala and performed in another show claiming he was going for « church service ».

His manager was then locked up in the cell yesterday with the police insisting that they must refund the money for a service not offered before they can leave Cameroon.

Someone from the Ivorian embassy even tried to intervene but the Cameroonian military stood their grounds that it’s a case of exploitation and the artist must refund the show organisers.

The organisers claim he went against their contract which is an abuse of trust. They say he never t even informed his audience on his social media platforms about this show but was expecting to have 1000 + people attending.

The case will be sent to court this morning while kS Bloom and his team are repartit insisting that they’ll not give Cameroonians a penny.

So we are awaiting how the case unfolds.
