YouTube has reported taken down Diamond Platnumz YouTube channel for violating their company’s policies.
Diamond Platnumz, is a Tanzanian music Singer, songwriter, dancer, philanthropist and a businessman. He is the founder and CEO of WCB Wasafi Record Label, Zoom Extra, Wasafi Bet and Wasafi Media. Diamond has gained a massive following in East and Central Africa.He became the first Africa-based artist to reach a combined total of 1 Billion YouTube views.
According to sources, the channel which had over 6 million subscribers and 742 vidoes making him have the highest YouTube subscribers in Sub-Saharan Africa was hacked.
The hackers reportedly went live on his channel with cryptocurrency news. YouTube then deactivated the channel for going against their rules.
Diamond has reportedly deleted the link to his YouTube channel from his social media accounts following the tribulation.
