Corine Céline Ntyame,comonly known as Coco Argentée,was born on August 13, 1982, in Mbandjock, Centre région of Cameroon. She is a Cameroonian singer and songwriter who lives in Belgium.

Coco Argentée started music at a very young age. At the age of six, she joined the Protestant choir La voix des Anges in Ngoumou . Some few years later, being in grade six, she created the group “Les Feeling Girl“with two friends, with whom she sang as core in Manu Dibango ‘s concert at College Mvogt.

She left the group when her father, Thomas Mekoulou Ndengue, a railwayman by profession, was assigned to the town of Ngaoundéré , in the Adamaoua region.

Once in the city of Ngaoundéré, she began to sing in snacks without her parents permission. At the age of 19, she won two prizes: the Commonwealth Prize and the Unesco Prize.

In 2003 , Coco Argentée left Cameroon for Tchad to take her baccalaureate. After obtaining her Baccalaureate A4 in 2004, she moved to N’djamena and continued her attempts in snacks until 2006 when she left the country to settle in Belgium where she currently lives with her husband, a Belgian , and their two children.

After training as a nurse , Coco Argentée worked for several years as a nurse’s aide,but decided after the release of her first album to stop her activity in the field of health to devote herself to her musical career.

Argentée began her career in 2010 with the successful release of the song, Dans la tanière, of her first album Nostalgie. In February 2016, she released Crayon de Dieu, a maxi single of two songs.

This single earned her the nickname La Go Galaxy. Coco Argentée now has three albums. The third album, Ouragan, was released in June 2018.

2015 and 2021 Best female artist at the Canal2’Or.
