Biography of Yung Meagan, Cameroonian rapper & performer.

Yung Meagan is a Cameroonian rapper who goes by the real name NIBA Megane born on 16th June 1995.

She is the fruit of the union between a journalist and a director. This mixture made the young lady passionate about music from an early age.

Her parents, music lovers at heart, rocked her childhood with the great songs of the ABBA Group, Ray Charles, Richard Bona, and also Nat King Cole, just to name a few.

Very reserved in her youth, Yung Meagan began to write music to express what she struggled to express in her daily life. Although very young, she was inspired by Tupac, Eve, Missy Elliott or even Foxy Brown.

Yung Meagan’s career started quite early; at the age of 14, she started working with the Parisian label LLETIC. Gaining experience over the years, she signed her first official contract with the Parisian label ASSET CORP. This collaboration produced her first 3 singles as well as a series of freestyles that made Meagan known to the general public.

In May 2019, Yung Meagan opened for Davido’s concert in Washington during the “Coming to America Festival”, alongside some French artists such as NAZA, Vegedream and Keblack.

In June 2019, Meagan released her single Black Girl Magic in collaboration with the Luc Bellaire brand in Cameroon, a question of highlighting the black woman.

She was chosen for Mr Eazi’s project emPawa Africa and is currently dating Cameroonian rapper Ko-C.
