While training with the Indomitable Lions for the African Cup of Nations which starts in a few days, the Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana was released by his staff to go and seal his future in the Italian club, Inter Milan.

André Onana signed a 5-year contract with Inter Milan starting next season. The 25-year-old Cameroonian international goalkeeper has obtained permission from his leaders to go to Italy on Tuesday where he will sign his contract once the medical examination is completed. Thereafter, he will return to Yaoundé, where the Indomitable Lions are preparing for AFCON 2021.

The Ajax goalkeeper will therefore enter the competition in a free spirit and will ultimately not come to Lyon where Peter Bosz had hoped last August. Onana, free at the end of the season, will stay in the Netherlands until next June before discovering the Italian Championship. A more than interesting way out for the one who returned to the field last November after a long 9-month suspension for doping.
