Having an exceptional year 2021, Karim Benzema was ranked 4th at the Ballon d’Or 2021. It was seemingly a little disappointment for the Real Madrid center forward who carried his club in enormous proportions while taking care of his return to the French team.
If the former Lyonnais could therefore have legitimately hoped to grab the podium – or even land the precious sesame – this difficult to accept ranking is not likely to disturb him.
