Josy Blinks born Josiane Ndonda, is a Cameroonian blogger, Public relation officer, You-tuber, Corporate communicator & entrepreneur.
Born on 18th May to Akoni Glory Nain, she is from the Northwest region of Cameroon. Miss Blinks went to St.Bede’s college Ashing Kom at the secondary school level, then Holy Infant High School Melen, Yaoundé for High school. She has a bachelor’s degree in professional corporate communication from the Advanced School of Mass Communication.
From childhood, she had interest in modeling, which she later started loving journalism after following up BBC journalists. However, she has always been a music & football lover from childhood. Till date, she supports Chelsea FC, a club she has loved since 2006.
From Form 5, she noticed she loved social media a lot, which became more like an addiction. That’s how at 17, she created her YouTube channel & Facebook page first of all talking about Cameroonian celebrity artistes. Josy had lots of views on her channel at that time because her classmates supported her, they said they love the way she presented. That’s how someday, Raza wrote her and introduced her into blogging. She worked with him, later worked for Iyundeblog then created her own blog at 18. Today, she is the CEO of one of the most prestigious Cameroonian blogs, Afriblinksblog.
Josy has achieved a lot these past years she is grateful for. She has been chanced to be the only person to ever interview the Cameroon’s President’s daughter Brenda Biya. This earned her the name, Presidential blogger. Also, she has interviewed Miss Caneroon 2020-2021, Nigerian international actor Ik Ogbonna, Blaise B, Boy TAG, Sandra Pieramie, Real Bassey, just to name a few.
In 2018, she was nominated at BDMA under category of best blogger. She has worked with top Cameroonian artistes like Shura, Blaise B, Ko-C just to name a few.
Josy organized her beats competition in 2019 which helped lots of fast rising beats producers.
