The Cameroonian international defender of Montpellier Ambroise Oyongo, 29, is on loan until next June at the Russian club Krasnodar, we learned Monday from the Hérault club.

Oyongo, under contract until June 2022, joined Montpellier in January 2018 from the Impact Montreal (MLS) to replace Jérôme Roussillon, transferred to Wolfsburg (Germany).

After two full seasons, Oyongo lost his starting position in favor of Serbian international Mihailo Ristic, who arrived in January 2019. He has only started 5 of the 13 matches played since the start of the season.

The Cameroonian international (36 caps) had been requested by the Turkish club Hatayspor during the winter transfer window.
