Sevilla FC’s Munir El-Haddadi has received good news. FIFA has registered his change of sporting nationality on Thursday. Which means he can finally wear the Atlas Lions jersey.

On January 28, FIFA published a circular explaining the eligibility requirements for the National Team. The 25-year-old striker fulfills the main criteria for playing for his home country: he has only worn the La Roja jersey once and before he turned 21, more than three years ago. (in 2014).

Munir could then make his debut with Morocco next March during qualifying for CAN 2021.
