Morocco, defending champion, could only draw (0-0) against Rwanda on Friday in their second match of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), while Togo beat Uganda ( 2-1).
The two meetings took place in Douala, at the Reunification Stadium. This is Rwanda’s second draw in two matches while Morocco remains undefeated (1 win, 1 draw).
Togo, who opened the scoring thanks to a goal against his camp of Mbowa (48th), won thanks to a goal from Nane on the hour mark (57th), just a few minutes after the Ugandan equalizer by Kyeyune (51st).
