Five solutions to calm tooth ache.

It is no secret to anyone. Dental pain is difficult to bear. But while waiting for the dentist’s appointment, it is sometimes useful to calm the toothache using grandmother’s remedies.

1. Clove

Here is an old grandmother’s remedy that has proven itself! Cloves act as a natural antiseptic and pain reliever.

How to do ?

Place a clove on the site of the painful tooth; tighten the jaw so as to activate the effects of the clove, which will be almost instantaneous.

2. Mouthwashes

Mouthwash eliminates the microbes and bacteria responsible for dental pain. You can do this 2 to 3 times a day for 3 minutes.

How to do

Dilute 1 tsp. of apple cider vinegar in a glass of warm water. Rinse your mouth after making this homemade mouthwash.

3. The bag of ice cubes

The ice pack is very useful to calm a toothache.

How to do ?

Compress your cheek with a cloth filled with a bag of ice cubes.

4. Garlic

Garlic is an excellent ally against dental pain. It releases a chemical, called allicin, which releases antibiotic properties that decrease infection.

How to do ?

Apply crushed garlic clove to your affected tooth, the pain will decrease. Simpler, rub a clove of garlic on your gums and teeth.

5. Ginger

Ginger has an anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial action that helps relieve toothache.

How to do ?

For this, take 2 tsp. ginger powder which you will mix with 1 tsp. of water until you get a thick paste. Then place this preparation on a cotton pad and apply it on the painful tooth without touching the gum.

Remember, however, that prevention is better than cure. This is why it is important to go to your dentist at least once a year.
